''New Slaves'' Projection Stopped By Police

Kanye West's "New Slaves" video was set to be projected on several buildings in cities across the world last night (May 24th) for the second time in as many weeks, but it looks like the rapper's unique promotional ploy was foiled in the city of Houston. According to reports, Kanye's plan to project a visual onto the Rothko Chapel Central library and the George Bush Monument didn't quite come to fruition.

Houston police shut down the Rothko showing and ordered the crowd to disburse or be arrested for trespassing.

The Bush screening just didn't take place. Fan Janet Quiroa said people were waiting for a showing that never happened.

"All we saw were the sprinklers come on and obnoxious people screaming Kanye threats," Quiroa said.

Rihanna isn't missing Chris Brown.

At least, that's what her friends say.

HollywoodLife reports that Team Rih-Rih says the sexy singer is loving her newfound freedom after splitting with the bad boy of R&B for the second time. “Being free, free from all the stress and bulls**t that was once in her life [makes her feel s3xy],” an unnamed source says. “She feels free for once and just living it up and getting ready to handle her business and get the f**k out of here on her tour.”

“She’s feeling good these days.”

“She’s tired of this back and forth s**t [with Chris]. A b**** wants someone that’s going to be down for her and respect her," the source adds. "She just need to be about her tour and not worry about that fool. She’ll be all right. She’s the most eligible b**** in town.”

Not that Rihanna's against relationships.

“If someone comes across her path, and they’re both feeling it, then she’d make a move,” the source reveals. “But my b***h isn’t searching for anybody. She’s not thirsty, that’s all.”
